At Altius Sports, we work closely with Architects and Consultants to ensure sports and landscape projects of all shapes and sizes are delivered correctly to meet compliance and create beautiful, long lasting, low maintenance spaces.

The early specification of the correct synthetic turf lawn or sports surface goes a long way to ensuring a project meets everyone’s expectations.

Altius Sports manufactures (through its principals) a range of synthetic surfaces customised to different sporting or recreational requirements. Working closely with Altius Sports in the early stages of planning a sports turf or landscaping project helps inform and educate all stakeholders on the features and benefits of the proposed surfaces, removing confusion or disagreement at the final stages. Altius Sports is happy to discuss and advise on any projects considering artificial turf, sports surfaces including base construction, lighting & roofing with detailed Bill of Quantity.

Our all-weather artificial grass certified sports systems are manufactured from durable, high performing TenCate Grass fibres and backings. They are tested to meet the highest performance standards required by World Sporting Bodies including FIFA, World Rugby, FIH, World Bowls & ITF to name but a few. Our product range also extends to World Athletics (IAAF) certified running track systems, FIBA approved interlocking tiles, BWF& ITTF approved vinyl flooring and high-performance PU and acrylic systems.

How it all works!

Altius Sports offer a complete turnkey solution which includes yarn and backing manufacture, pitch design and build (including lighting, fencing and irrigation) customised synthetic turf manufacture, installation and after sales maintenance and service. There is an additional option with TigerTurf for end of product life cycle with its Ecocept performance bases. Most of our turf is manufactured to order in either our New Zealand or U.K. or U.S.A. or Malaysian based manufacturing plants, from yarn manufactured by TenCate Grass (TigerTurf’s parent company). As well as our own in-house construction and installation teams, we have our own highly-skilled base builders and all of them are able to extend our industry-leading attention to detail to the installation and maintenance of our sports surfaces.
